Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

This policy sets out the approach of Bashido Technologies Ltd ("Bashido"). We have zero tolerance for bribery and corruption. We do not offer, request or accept bribes, kickbacks or improper advantages, directly or through another person. This includes facilitation payments to secure routine action.

This policy applies to our founders, employees, contractors and anyone acting on Bashido’s behalf. We expect clients, suppliers and partners to act with integrity in their dealings with us.

Gifts and hospitality must be modest, lawful and appropriate. They must never influence, or appear to influence, a procurement or business decision. Anyone acting for Bashido must seek a founder’s approval before offering or accepting anything that could raise a concern, and follow the recipient organisation’s rules. Actual or potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed to a founder promptly. Relationships, confidential information and payments must not be used to obtain an improper advantage. We keep accurate records of relevant approvals and expenses.

Report suspected bribery or corruption to hello@bashido.ai or directly to either founder. If a concern involves one founder, raise it with the other. We assess concerns promptly and handle them as confidentially as possible. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern honestly or refuses to take part in bribery.

Our founders are responsible for this policy, communicating the standards to people acting on our behalf and reviewing risks as the business develops. Breaches can lead to disciplinary action, termination of a business relationship or referral to the relevant authorities.
